EducaPoles

EducaPoles is the educational website of the International Polar Foundation. It sets out to sensitize young people and the educational world to the importance of the Polar Regions and of climate change by proposing adapted teaching tools and projects.

Various teaching dossiers have been put together by the International Polar Foundation. These dossiers aim to help teachers introduce subjects such as the Polar Regions, climate and climate change, energy and biodiversity to their students. The dossiers are mainly intended for late primary school (or middle school) teachers (10-12 years old students) and secondary school science and geography teachers.

To educate a wide public on polar science and climate change related issues, the International Polar Foundation also needs to target a very young public (after all, they are mainly concerned by climate change). This section aims at providing kindergarten teachers or parents with tales they can use to introduce these themes to their classes and kids (5 to 8 years old).

Please have a look at the website to find out more!
