Summary: O Clube FoQuetão é um projecto de complemento do currículo da Escola Básica e Secundária da Calheta.
Um dos objectivos deste projecto é promover o interesse pelas Ciências e pela interpretação dos fenómenos do dia a dia.
Neste clube realizamos actividades experimentais de Física e Química com o objectivo de os próprios alunos chegarem à conclusão do porquê das coisas. Estas actividades práticas são filmadas e colocadas no blog do projecto: http://foquetao.blogspot.com/
A equipa é composta por um monitor, Prof. Marco Pereira, e 12 alunos com escolaridades compreendidas entre o 5.º e 12.º ano.

ENGLISH SUMMARY
This science club has the aim to promote interest in science through interpretation of everyday phenomena. Pupils carry out experiments in physics and chemistry, to find out about the “why” of things. The results are discussed in group to find the correct explanation. This way pupils “have fun and learn”. These practical activities are also filmed and published on the project blog: http://foquetao.blogspot.com/, together with guides and tutorials to support them.
