The set of multimedia tools for transferability includes a number of tools and mini-units developed to give suggestions to teachers on the use of different applications like Powerpoint, Blog, Video, Discussion Forum, eTwinning, and Web 2.0 applications like YouTube, Wikipedia, Flickr, Myspace, Del.icio.us. The objective is to support the work of teachers and school classes in science education projects and promote the divulgation of project practices and results.

School projects and initiatives can be described in a detailed and demonstrative way with the help of these multimedia tools and web-based applications. The aim is to support all key actors of the educational process, including pupils and students, to get involved in science projects and their demonstration.

The following tools are made available in this section: PPT Template, Blog Mini-Unit, Video Mini-Unit and Storyboard Template, Web 2.0 Mini-Unit, E-Twinning Mini-Unit, Discussion Forum Mini-Unit.

The mini-units are available for online consultation and the templates are downloadable for free from this web page.

Try out the STELLA multimedia tools for transferability and document your initiative by means of PPT presentations, videos and blogs! Support your project through the eTwinning programme or other Web 2.0 applications! The results of your work will be attached to the grid of your initiative in the STELLA catalogue, thus allowing to share your work with colleagues and experts all over Europe.

Just contact us and send us your contributions and products (links or files) to europe@stella-science.eu!

Documenting your own work is also a way of reflecting on what one is doing, and to understand better the strengths and weaknesses of your own initiative. Furthermore, it can be stimulating for pupils and school staff to be involved in the documentation process.
